The east gate

The man led me to the east gate. The gate was closed. The Lord said to me: This gate is meant to always remain closed. They should never open it. Never let anyone pass there. For there, I, the Lord, the God of Israel, passed. It must always remain closed. Only the king may come and sit there to eat his portion of the food offering before me. He will go through the door of the large room at the end of the corridor to enter. That's where he will come out as well.
